Where are your parks and why are they so great?

The purpose of this website is to make the title of this post less mysterious. First, the parks are great because they are wonderful places to relax, have fun, fish, hike, connect with family, picnic, see the huge number of stars when leaving the glow of the city lights and because they belong to EVERYONE!

Parks like the Statue of Liberty in New York City help preserve and share our history, rural parks like Yellowstone National Park and Grand Canyon National Park connect us to the awe inspiring beauty of the natural landscape in addition to reminding us that clean air still exists and that clean water is collected in rural spaces before arriving in cities.
So where are your parks? They are in all 50 states, several U.S. territories and all around the world. Many parks are located close enough to cities so they can be visited in a day, and other parks are far enough away to give birth to an adventuresome road trip. Please, click here and connect yourself to the wide variety of parks available for your pleasure, and remember that these treasures are yours.
